South Africa does not have an "Official" Airedale Club, so we are using this medium to keep in contact with other "Airedalers" throughout the world.
Many years ago (before I came onto the Airedale scene,) there was an extremely active Airedale Club, but as so very often happens, when the 'older' folk leave the Club for one reason or another, then the Club eventually folds.
This I believe is what happened to the Club here.
There are still a few trophies around that were competed for at the Club's Annual Championship Show, these are now with All Breed Clubs.
There are very few true Airedale Breeders in South Africa, there are of course the usual "Pet" breeders, so we do not count these as "true" breeders, at the moment there are only five throughout the whole Country, therefore our waiting lists are usually about 60 strong (Each)
